Located at Ribby Hall, on the outskirts of Preston, the Wild Discovery zoo provides an interactive and exciting educational experience around a variety of animals. The zoo makes a fantastic, fun day out for all ages. Their daily talks aim to inspire children and adults in helping to promote conservation of wildlife and the environment they live in. You can take part in as many talks and activities as you like on your visit, with admission counting as a full day pass.
Discover and learn about a wide variety of amazing animals from around the world. Wild Discovery's animals include mammals, such as fruit bats and the Giant Anteater; birds, such as the Toco Toucan and the Bleeding Heart Dove; and reptiles, such as the Philippine Crocodile and numerous tortoise.
Wild Discovery Experiences
For those mad about animals, Wild Discovery's special experience packages make the perfect gift, or simply a day out with a difference. The zoo's experiences include being a 'Keeper for the Day' and getting up close and personal with some of the animals with their 'Animal Encounters' experience.

Educational and group visits
Wild Discovery's interactive workshops and activities make it a fantastic place to visit for school trips and other educational visits. Their bespoke workshops are designed by the Education Team and allow for at home learning and real life animal encounters. You can choose to visit Wild Discovery with your group or class, or they can bring the zoo to you!
